2017 Honda models now come standard with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Controlling your mobile device from your vehicle has never been made easier.

Apple CarPlay

Connecting to Apple CarPlay™ is very simple. To use this feature, you must have an iPhone 5 or newer running IOS 8.3  or higher. With the transmission is park, turn the vehicle to accessory mode by pressing the vehicles start/stop button twice without holding the brake.

Next, connect your iPhone's lightning USB cable to the dedicated USB port labelled with the phone icon.  Note: This is the only port that will work with Apple Carplay.  There is no need to pair using Bluetooth, as the system overrides the Bluetooth connection by using the cable as the physical link between your phone and CarPlay. Once connected, the CarPlay icon will appear on your phone as well as the vehicles audio system touch screen.  once completed, your iPhone is now paired with your CarPlay system.

Android Auto:

Connecting your Android device using Android Auto™ uses the same steps as Apple CarPlay™. To use this feature you must have an Android device running version 5.0 lollipop or higher. The brand of the phone does not matter as long as the software is up to date. With the transmission is park, turn the vehicle to accessory mode.

Next, connect your Androids lightning USB cable to the dedicated USB port labelled with the phone icon.  Note: This is the only port that will work with Android Auto™. The systems Bluetooth connection is triggered automatically so there is no need to pair using bluetooth, as the system overrides the Bluetooth connection by using the cable as the physical link between your phone and Android Auto™. Once connected, the Android Auto™ icon will appear on your phone as well as the vehicles audio system touch screen.  once completed, your device is now paired via Android Auto.
